Computer Reset, Dallas

Computer Reset was a legendary used computer warehouse in northeast Dallas founded in 1984-1985 by Richard Byron, operating an approximately 18,000 square foot facility packed with vintage computer equipment from the 1980s onward, particularly IBM products. The store remained a go-to source for retro computing parts into the 2010s before unofficially closing in 2018, and gained widespread internet fame after several prominent YouTubers visited and documented the facility following its closure. Byron died in September 2019 at age 75, after which the inventory was liquidated.
