Palantir founder purchases large swath of forest in Sweden

Alex Karp, CEO of Palantir Technologies, has purchased 15,000 hectares of forest in Härjedalen, Sweden, for $22 million through his newly registered company Cladonia Skog AB. The purchase from paper company SCA AB was not disclosed to local authorities in advance, and local hunters were notified only through lease cancellation notices. The acquisition occurs amid European leaders' discussions about reducing reliance on U.S. technology, despite Swedish defense, police, and NATO using Palantir's services.
