Show HN: Panel – A research workspace where the agent can build its own panes

Panel is a research workspace tool that allows AI agents to collaborate with users by providing chat, file access, PDFs, and notebooks in a unified interface, with the ability to create custom viewers and applications. The early-stage project supports Claude Code integration and features workspaces where agents can read/write files, run notebooks against real kernels, and perform literature reviews. Currently, full support is limited to Claude Code, with partial OpenAI API compatibility available for chat and tools.
