Spain Orders Blacklist of Palantir from Public and Private Companies

The ban reflects broader European skepticism toward the company and geopolitical tensions between Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and the incoming U.S. administration, though Palantir maintains an active defense contract with Spain's Armed Forces Intelligence Center set to expire in November. Spain is simultaneously investing €115 million in domestic technology alternatives to reduce reliance on foreign defense software.
