Claude is no longer available for minors

Anthropic has restricted Claude, its consumer AI product, to users 18 and older, implementing age verification systems to detect and disable accounts of minors. Users suspected of being under 18 will be required to verify their age through Yoti, a third-party platform offering facial recognition, ID verification, or digital ID app options, with all personal data deleted after verification. Anthropic does not access or retain any verification data, receiving only a pass/fail result.
