Microsoft tried to ban "Microslop", and six months later it has given up

Microsoft quietly lifted its ban on the term "Microslop" on its official Copilot Discord server, six months after initially blocking the word through automatic moderation filters. The derogatory nickname emerged from user frustration with Microsoft's aggressive AI integration in Windows 11, and while Microsoft initially tried to suppress it by filtering messages and locking down server channels, the company has now silently allowed the term to circulate openly with over 200 recent posts using it.
