papyDeck is an open-source console featuring three synchronized RP2350B chips that delivers 3,000 sprite pixels per scanline at 640×480 resolution over HDMI, with games written as editable Lua scripts stored as plain folders on a micro-SD card. The system includes a browser-based simulator that runs identically to the hardware, allowing developers to write and modify games without specialized tools or compilation. The hardware and firmware are planned to be released under open licenses (CERN-OHL-P and MIT) once the V1 board becomes publicly available.
